Memorial and Funeral Services for Elder Watson Diggs Awardee Ray A. Booton

Please note the following information in regards to the Memorial and Funeral Service for Brother Ray A. Booton:

***Friday, September 4, 2009, Private Memorial Service begins at 7:00pm at Grier Funeral Home. Please be at the Memorial by 6:50pm so that we can march in together. Dress for this occasion is Black Suits, White Shirt and Red Tie.

a. Family Visitation from 10:00–11:00am

b. Kappas Public Memorial Service will begin at 10:40am. Please be at the church by 10:20am. Dress for this occasion is Black Suits, White Shirt and Red Tie. Also Brothers, do not forget to drape your fraternity badge(s) with black threads in remembrance of Brother Beckwith.

c. Funeral Service begins at 11:00am

The Men of the Charlotte Alumni Chapter have been ask to serve as Pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Ray A. Booton Scholarship Fund (Charlotte Alumni Chapter, P. O. Box 16471, Charlotte, NC 28297).

d. Interment Services – Elmwood/Pinewood Cemetery (700 W 6th Street, Charlotte, NC 28202)

e. A Time of Remembrance with friends, family and fraternity brothers at the Kappa Hall (5409 Beatties Ford Road) following the burial
