Founded by Tommy McNeill in 2013, Mid-South Medical is a distributorship based in Durham, NC, that specializes in marketing medical devices to hospitals and surgical centers throughout the US. The company has represented the HotDog Patient Warming System since 2019. In early 2023, Mid-South Medical introduced the life-saving device to two Tanzanian hospitals and subsequently hired and trained a marketing professional to represent Mid-South Medical in region. Such trips will continue with plans to establish connections in other East African countries, where the demand for such a product is great.

Reinforced with a best-in-class sales team, Mid-South Medical relies upon trusted, longstanding relationships with healthcare professionals and members of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) to bring state-of-the-art medical technologies to decision-makers who determine how best to serve their patients. Mid-South Medical further works to promote the interests of minority physicians and patients of African descent, as well as break down barriers to entering various markets, though its affiliations with the Old North State Medical Society (ONSMS) and the National Medical Association (NMA).

Serving on the board of Health Industries Representatives Association (HIRA) since 2015, McNeill continually strives to make Mid-South Medical a model for best practices and utmost professionalism.
