Province Polemarch's Desk

Starting back in 1926, the eight districts were converted into eight provinces and the Middle Eastern Province was created. Our Province has hosted three Grand Chapter Conclaves and one National Founder Day and birthed the Kappa Quiz Bowl and Beautillion Militaire. In addition to those National and regional initiatives, we have also been the home of the 7th Grand Polemarch, A. Moore Shearin, 22nd Grand Polemarch, and Laurel Wreath Laureate Attorney Hillary H. Holloway who also served as Executive Director or the fraternity. Over the years many great Kappa men have served our fraternity with distinction. Among our ranks we still have members like Laurel Wreath Laureate the Honorable Henry E. Frye, Elder Watson Diggs awardees, William E. Hooker, Past Grand Keeper of Records and Exchequer Alfred White and our newest awardee Sheldon L. McAlpin and Guy L. Grant Awardee Christopher Wilkes.
As this next chapter of the Middle Eastern Province unfolds, achievement is still our goal but our business is brotherhood. From the shores of Elizabeth City, NC to the mountains of Beckley, West Virginia, we remain committed to each other and the ideals of Phi Nu Pi.
On behalf of the members of the Mighty Middle Eastern Province, I thank you for visiting our award winning website.
Respectfully submitted,
