The Brothers of the Cary (NC) Alumni Chapter wrapped up the calendar year with our signature Shop With A Kappa event. This is the fifth consecutive year for this event and since its inception in 2018, we have grown significantly in the number of children we have been able to support with 62 children in attendance. The Brothers of Cary Alumni personally fund this event with a $125 shopping allowance per child. Our event is supported by local merchants like Walmart who provides the venue along with an additional $25 gift card for each child while Chick-Fil-A who provides breakfast.
Each year, the joy in the participating children is not only obvious but contagious to the Cary Alumni Brothers and drives their increased personal funding year over year.
The chapter also participated in the 43rd annual Cary Jaycees Christmas Parade in downtown Cary. The parade was a joyful celebration that included bands, mascots, local businesses, community groups, and churches.
