Operation Fresh Start is the Kappa Charitable Trust Fund signature back to school community initiative, dedicated to ensuring that every student in our community walks into the new school year confident, healthy, prepared and READY to succeed.

FREE HAIRCUTS--Every student deserves to walk into that first day of school looking sharp, feeling fresh, and standing tall. Thanks to our incredible partnership with Sherrills University of Barber and Cosmetology, we are making sure EVERY student gets that chance--AT NO COST. The haircuts will be at Sherrills University of Barber and Cosmetology located at 3601 Bastion Lane, Raleigh NC 27604
FREE ATHLETIC PHYSICALS--WE are tearing down barriers and making sure our students are medically cleared and ready to compete, participate and THRIVE. No student should miss out on athletics or school activities because they couldn't access a physical---and on August 22, that problem goes AWAY.
SNEAKER GIVEAWAY—Giving away FREE SNEAKERS to deserving students. New shoes, new confidence, new beginnings. Because every child deserves to step into the school year with head held HIGH and fresh kicks on their feet.
