The Middle Eastern Province participates in the “National Day of Reading”

January 24, 2025, marked the launch of the inaugural National Day of Reading, a landmark event that mobilized over 1,000 fraternity members across the U.S. and internationally. In a single day, Kappas members read to more than 23,000 students across 1,285 classrooms and distributed over 2,400 books to schools and libraries. Here are some highlights here in the Middle Eastern Province.

Read to 27 students at Governors' Village STEM Academy and altogether collected 2,551 books, donating 208 books to over 150 students, with the rest being donated to "Books on a House" - a non profit mobile bookmobile whose aim is to increase literacy.
