The Wake Forest Rolesville (NC)Alumni Chapter : Adopt A Family Program

The holiday season brings joy to countless people around the world. It is also a time of sadness and anxiety for those who do not have the means to provide gifts for their families. This is the 11th year the brothers of The Wake Forest Rolesville (NC) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi has conducted the annual Adopt a Family program. The chapter recognizes the vital need to help those who are less fortunate and allocate funds each year for local families in need.  This year we adopted well deserving families from the Wake Forest community and gave each family gifts (clothing items and stockings stuffers) to help brighten their holiday. We hope these acts of kindness brings joy to each of these families.

The Wake Forest Rolesville (NC)Alumni Chapter : Warmth for Wake

Warmth for Wake is a seasonal energy assistance outreach program that is sponsored by Wake County Human Services. The Wake Forest-Rolesville (NC) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi has been participating in this program since 2011.   The goal of the program is to provide fuel to low-income residents of Wake County during the coldest winter months.  Warmth for Wake achieves their goals by supplying free firewood or space heaters to households who can’t afford to pay for heat or lack heating sources.

The Wake Forest Rolesville(NC)Alumni Chapter spent this season cutting, chopping, loading, and delivering wood to families in need around the community and bonding with each other in the process. Warmth for Wake program delivers more than 300 cords of wood and 100 household space heaters each year.
