About
A native of Romulus, Michigan, David M. Walton earned a dual PhD in History and African American & African Studies from Michigan State University in the summer of 2017. He also earned a MA in World History and a Graduate Certificate in African American Studies from Eastern Michigan University. Dr. Walton is an active member of the National Council of Black Studies, the Association for the Study of African American Life and History, and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Walton is an Assistant Professor of History and Director of Global Black Studies at Western Carolina University.
