The day before the Frostbite Charity Golf Open join the Kappa Charitable Trust Fund, Inc. for "An Afternoon with the Nupes & 2025 Frostbite Open Pairing Party”. This special jazz event will blend live music, engaging discussions, and community fellowship to raise awareness about colon cancer prevention and early detection, a critical health issue disproportionately affecting African Americans. Enjoy a captivating performance by two-time Grammy and Stellar Award-nominated saxophonist, Marcus Anderson, while hearing from esteemed guest speakers, including medical experts, community leaders, and survivors who will share valuable insights on the importance of screening and prevention.
This event is free to attend, but we encourage attendees to support our mission by making a donation to the Kappa Charitable Trust Fund, a 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to health awareness and community empowerment.
Bring your lawn chairs, bring a friend, and join us for an afternoon of jazz, education, and giving back.

“2025 Frostbite Charity Golf Open”

Come join us for a day of fun, golf and raising money for a great cause at Brier Creek Country Club (Raleigh, NC) on Monday, March 24, 2025! This in person event is perfect for both golf enthusiasts or those just looking to support a wonderful cause – Colon Cancer Awareness. Get ready to tee off, enjoy some friendly competition, and make a difference in the community.
We have 2 flights/formats this year... The 2-Man Scramble (Competitive Flight) features a cash payout to the top the three teams – 1st - $1000, 2nd - $500, 3rd - $250 – in addition to other great prizes. The top three teams participating in the 4-Man Scramble (Fun-Golf Flight) will compete for bragging rights and their choice of three, curated prize packages.
All registrants are also automatically entered for our Long Drive (Mens' & Womens'), Closet to the Pin (4 hole opportunities), Hole-in-One (4 opportunities) and putting contests.
Check-in and a grab some refreshments; registration begins at 9:30am. Tee-time is at 10:30am, and a banquet-style hot dinner/awards banquet will follow immediately after. Various games, challenges, and advantages will be in place throughout the course.
Registration includes pre-round range balls, continental breakfast, lunch at the turn, dinner, swag-bag and a discount to the pro-shop.
Mulligan and raffle tickets will be available the day of the event for an additional cost.
