The Health and Wellness committee of the Raleigh(NC) Alumni Chapter partnered with the Triangle Area Chapters of Kappa (T.A.C.K) to participate in the Mother’s Against Drunk Driver (MADD) Walk. The MADD Walk was held to raise awareness of the dangers of driving while impaired and also to raise mission critical funds to operate MADD. The brothers of T.A.C.K showed unity in walking in honor of our late Brother Leroy Owens (Spr 91 Kappa Sigma) who entered Chapter Invisible in April of 2018. Brother Owens was killed by a drunk driver during the 2018 Province Council Weekend. Brother Owens was respected by many across the Middle Eastern Province and his memory will live on. We want to give a special thanks our family, friends, and brothers of T.A.C.K for their participation as well as donations.
